A South Carolina man who recently won $300,000 with a scratch-off lottery ticket says he waited 20 years to find out what it's like to win big.

"I’m so happy it happened," he said. "I wish everyone could experience it."

The man, who is remaining anonymous, said his luck changed on a scratch-off ticket that he purchased at the Greenwood Mart located at 1208 Byp. 72 NE in Greenwood.

The $10 ticket delivered him a long-awaited $300,000 prize.

And the winner has already made his first purchase: a new car.

Two more top prizes of $300,000 remain in the Win Big Money game at odds of 1 in 900,000.

Greenwood Mart in Greenwood received a commission of $3,000 for selling the claimed ticket.
